Brenda Weiss earned her B.A. and B.S. in Education and Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, her M.S.in Rehabilitation Counseling from Boston University, and her B.S. in Interior Design from Florida International University. She also completed post-master's work at Harvard University's Graduate School of Design, receiving her certification in Creating Healing Environments in Healthcare Facilities.Brenda founded Weiss Design Group, Inc. in 1993 with her original focus on healthcare design. Among her South Florida and Philadelphia projects are Mt. Sinai Hospital, Westchester General Hospital, Victoria Hospital, University Hospital, and 3000 BC Spa. Her healthcare projects consist of ambulatory surgi-centers, psychiatric facilities, emergency and ICU departments, med-spas and wellness centers, dialysis units, acute care units, labor and delivery units, and assisted living and nursing care facilities, to name a few.
